Gorman.

Dearest Gorman,

I forgive you. How could I not? How could I possibly hold a grudge against the guy who is so desperately in love with Julie that only Josh Groban can adequately portray the emotions coursing through his veins? I should have realized early on that you were Josh Groban; unfortunately, I had temporarily forgotten the night when you performed an interpretive dance with scarves to "You Raise Me Up."

Yes readers, Daniel Gorman (not Q) Bliss danced his little lovestruck heart out in our living room with scarves to Josh Groban, trying to demonstrate his passion for my roommate. Was it masculine? Hm. Was it graceful? Erm. But it was genuine. He was in love, and what better way to display that feeling than through an intense outpouring of exuberant emotion accompanied by the flowing lyricism of dance and the sweet, sweet melodies of Josh Groban?

Thus, I naturally cannot find you guilty for wanting to be Josh Groban. One part of your adequately sincere response really struck me:
"Josh was in the south of France when he wrote "Remember When It Rained." I, for one, bore witness to a terribly blustery storm in Marseille in February of this year. A lone traveler I was then, far from country and compatriots: my toothbrush my companion, my sweater my home. Did it evoke in me the same melancholy of Mr. Groban's experience? I do say that it did."
It must have been so difficult for you to be so far away from your love. Julie was not only your toothbrush, she was also your sweater. As a hopeless romantic, I can only sigh with admiration at how strong you are; it is truly a testament to your undying devotion to her that you survived until she was back in your arms.

I hope I have not embarrassed you by sharing to my readers and the cyber world your affection for my roommate or your tendency to burst out into interpretive dance. I surely did not do so on purpose to counteract the torture you put me through for two whole days. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving - you sure have a lot to be thankful for. In fact, I think it would be appropriate for you to illustrate your gratefulness to Julie through song. A Josh Groban song, perhaps? I'm sure she and your extended family would very much enjoy that on Thanksgiving.

Sincerely yours,
Tina

I prefer to spell it with a Q. You just never asked. It's like the President of Libya. You can spell it Qaddafi or Gaddafi.
